Mafia Wars Strategy - 3 Tips For the Beginning Mafia Wars Player

Beginning Mafia Wars players more often than not don't know how to minimize being attacked or minimize the loss of money and property. Here are 3 tips to start playing the right way:

• Jobs - Do jobs to get cash. Move through the levels and get as much cash as possible. As you progress make it a practice to constantly bank your cash. Other people can't rob you if your money is in the bank.

• Acquire properties - Do not buy buildings if you don't want to waste your cash on repairing your properties and protecting them. People can damage and rob the value of your buildings if you buy buildings for your properties. Having said that, some people buy buildings for their properties and they don't protect them saying that collecting 30% of the rent is worth it. It's up to you which way you want to do it. Note - since Mafia Wars shut down robbing you don't have to protect them because nobody can damage them. I hope they bring back robbing soon because it was more fun to rob.
  

• Get more Mafia - Recruit as many people into your mob as you can. The more people you recruit the stronger your mob can become. First ask your Facebook friends to join. Once you've got as many from your Facebook friends as you can there are many other ways to get more people for your mob. I've used my own web site blog, Twitter and even announced that I wanted to recruit more players through the Mafia Wars Fans homepage on Facebook. There are many more creative ways to recruit people. You're only limited by your imagination.

You Just Don't Get It - If You Keep Doing This Expect To Be Robbed

over and over again....
There is this person who keeps putting me on her hitlist and getting her mob to attack me.
Why?
Quite frankly, I don't care.
Why?
Because she keeps making the same mistake over and over again!
Because she is making the biggest mistake of all. Repairing her properties and protecting them! Every time I rob her down to 30% she refills it back up to 100% and then I rob her again the next time around. She just doesn't get it! Using the technique from a previous post I saved her URL and rob her almost endlessly.

If you are caught in this situation - STOP!
Stop protecting and repairing your properties! Buy new properties and the percentage goes up slowly. You still get 30% if your properties get down that low and you won't be wasting your cash.

P.S. - Oh and Tabs, if you happen to catch this post here's something that might help you. You are probably better to buy some boosts <--- another tip -<<<<<. It's starting to get boring robbing you. There are others I could be robbing but you are sooooooo easy!

Easy Targets - How to Rob Them Over And Over Again

I just stumbled on to this. It's so simple.
Find someone who is easy to rob. Whatever properties you are robbing continue robbing until you run out of stamina.
The most frustrating part for me was when I ran out of stamina I had to end my robbing spree, even when the person I was robbing still had some "life" left in their properties.
So this is what I tried. And it worked!
Open up Notepad in Windows or Textedit on your Mac.
Right-click on the person's name and click open in new window. You will open a window with that person's stats.
Now copy the URL and paste it on a line in your text editor. Save the file.
Back to your browser and open another browser window and paste the URL in the location bar.
See, you opened another window to the "mark's" stats page again.
Now you can do something else or shut down your computer and come back later to rob this person again.
When you've regained some stamina you just go back to your text file and copy the link and rob them again.
Look for the line that includes the link "Rob". Click on the Rob link and go to town.
Just be careful that you're not abusive. If you bully someone regularly you probably most likely would get your account shut down.
